What is a flightcase?
A flightcase is an idea of packing products which need maximum protection
against impact and shocks.
What is a flightcase made of?
A flightcase is built from Finnish birch plywood 4, 7 or 9 mm covered with
hard stucco (aluminium) or formica. The case is mounted with double
closing strips, recessed with butterfly steel catches and flip handles
with springs which return handles to level with the case surface. The case
is equipped with heavy steel corners and optional wheels (we can supply all
fittings, strips and so forth in stainless steel if required).
Typical custom made interior:
The custom made interior of the flightcase is made from plywood and
special foam in order to ensure that your product receives maximum
protection against impact and shocks. Furthermore, we specialize in
mounting stainless steel frames with shock-mounts and vibration absorbent
corners. (Also look under interior).
